This is my second nebula projectors the first was a nebula mars lite and its still running strong but I wanted to upgrade and this new mars 3 air is absolutely amazing the auto keystone and auto focus work perfectly the color is great especially the HDR content not to mention the easy of having Google tv built in is so much better than anything else on the market. The sound built in is perfect for a bedroom. I cannot say enough to praise this unit but I will say if it’s in your budget this is the one to get.

I have been searching for the right product for a while as I got fed up watching my Netflix and other streaming apps on a small screen called a phone. I wanted to invest more in something bigger however my space is limited.

Then I found this! The perfect small projector that can increase my screen size without problems, Dobly Audio that feels like I’m in a cinema, and true color contrast that brings the right amount of color without being saturated. No more 6.7-inch screen to watch from and more space for me to place more other things around! The perfect small projector that checks all my boxes of what I want with a little bit of caveats!

Like many of you reading these reviews, I pored over all the different portable projectors out there. I ended up going with the Mars 3 Air and so far have absolutely loved it. I went with this one over the Capsule version because of the louder sound, but I will say I still wish it was a little louder. It’s not a big deal – still loud enough for most things, and we already had a portable bluetooth speaker that easily connected to it and makes it plenty loud. I also wish the battery life was a little better. lasts as advertised about 2.5 hours. can get through 2 episodes or a movie before needing to think about plugging in. The auto focus on this projector has been amazing, and I am happy with the brightness. The portability is great. Was easy to set up and has been easy to play in our room, take with us on a weekend getaway, and make fun memories with the fam using it. Overall very happy with my purchase!!

The software needs some improvements.
1) Google TV interface is slow and laggy. Especially on startup or while a movie is playing. (Likely due to the limited RAM)
2) You can’t connect to a Bluetooth speaker/headset without leaving your movie and going into settings
3) Most apps will close and stop playing content if the projector adjusts the screen size/focus. Annoying if you bump the projector during a movie.

Most of this could be fixed with a software update. Other than those issues the projector is solid and the picture is great for how compact it is. Battery life is good enough to get you through a movie but have a charger on stand by.

I am a huge fan of Nebula projectors, they are super lightweight, user friendly to operate as other brands I have worked with take forever to get the image just right. These auto-focus and auto-keystone to the screen in seconds providing a crisp, clear image every time. This model is super compact and I love that it can operate on it’s internal battery. This is going to change our family movie nights forever. I stand by their quality and definitely recommend!

Really well built great picture quality for the price point. Love it.

We love this traveling device, we use it at home, on blank wall and the image is incredible. We’re using it on a portable monitor and again, image is great, auto adjusting.

Please note that you must download the Google Tv in order to be able to share monitor.

Overall, definitely recommend this product.

I was looking for a budget-friendly portable projector for a few months. After looking into some reviews, I decided to buy NEBULA Mars 3 Air. However, it’s not as portable as other capsule variants. But it didn’t disappoint me at all with around a $500 budget!

It has everything I need, like 400 ANSI-Lumen Brightness which is decent enough for even a not-so-dark room, 1080P resolution, and most importantly awesome auto focus feature. Also, the sound is pretty good, except for some Netflix movies. Highly recommended.

Don’t buy this projector if you have a lots of windows in your house and planning to watch during the day. If you’re planning to watch at night , it’s awesome . 120” it’s preferable, otherwise it will not get the desired result. The speakers are good . Image is decent and very bright on a darker room.
I wouldn’t buy again. I would save some money to get nebula 4k . Brighter and it has 4k resolution.
